Position Overview:

 

The Quality ISO Coordinator will report to the Quality Manager at the Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy manufacturing plant in Ft. Madison Iowa. The Quality ISO Coordinator will be responsible for quality compliance to ISO standards, conduct audits to verify processes are following strict regulations and maintain the Integrated Management Systems (IMS).  The Quality ISO Coordinator must possess strong verbal and written abilities to coordinate quality control activities in a team environment and share important ISO related information to reach crucial objectives within a given time frame. 

 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Audit support, planning, scheduling and implementation for internal and external audits
  • Summarize and analyze the finding in alignment with the IMS and ISO standards
  • Create comprehensive audit reports
  • Responsible for monthly reports and updates to management group
  • Maintain corrective action policies
  • Daily interaction with all of levels of organization, regionally and globally
  • Conduct verification of the effectiveness of solutions in response to corrective actions
  • Maintain compliance with all calibrated equipment
  • Analyze audits to identify gaps and improvement potential
  • Provide support to team to determine root cause analysis for problem solving
  • Maintain Idea Management System

 

Required Knowledge/skill, Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or advance degree or a combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with quality and quality processes

  • ISO specific experience

  • Demonstrated experience with creating reports in Excel

  • Demonstrated experience with quality reporting

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and learn data system; SAP experience preferred

  • Working knowledge of Integrated Management Systems preferred
