Position Overview

Our team is seeking an experienced and qualified professional who will serve as the strategic operations manager for the Siemens USA Cybersecurity function.
The work will be fast-paced, and you will have a pivotal role in shaping the strategy of Cybersecurity and driving operational excellence in accordance with the strategy. Siemens is currently going through a transformation that is helping us to be better prepared and more responsive to the needs of our customers and society. This an opportunity to help shape the future of Siemens USA. This position will report directly to the Chief Cybersecurity Officer, Siemens USA.
 
Responsibilities:

Strategy
•Play major role in helping to refine the Cybersecurity strategy of Siemens USA over time.
•Coordinate with Siemens USA management team and other business leaders to ensure that strategic initiatives are aligned as necessary
•Assist in building Siemens USA brand through joint story and content development (with other business functions). This includes potential public speaking engagements.

Operations
•Establish and continually update baseline requirements for operational excellence
•Leverage expertise of the team to execute day to day operations
•Facilitate data gathering and analysis to report on KPIs that measure operational excellence
•Develop go-forward plans (adjustment) based on operational performance and needs of the business
•Develop and foster strong working relationships with business leaders throughout Siemens USA
•Develop and foster strong working relationships with other support functions which can contribute to more effective enterprise cyber risk management

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
•Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or another business-related field
•10+ years of experience in relevant consulting or industry experience in strategic initiatives, process transformation, and/or operations
•3+ years in a functional or project-based lead role managing a team to deliver results
•Experience mentoring and coaching others
•Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
•Able to work in ambiguity and drive towards specific value-based outcomes
•Experience working with C-suite
•Experience presenting and/or selling ideas to various audiences
•Experience working in a matrix organization
 Willing to travel up to 30%, mainly domestic.

 Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
 
•Prior experience working for a well-established consulting firm
•Experience working for or with large multi-national organizations
