Job Description:

Siemens-Healthineers - Mishawaka, IN -  Maintenance Supervisor We are seeking a competent, highly motivated, and results driven individual to supervise skilled trades in production maintenance in a highly regulated and fast paced environment. 

This will be a Third Shift Position.  10:00p- 6:30a.

Key Responsibilities •Ensure all regulatory obligations relating to carrying out duties are completed in consultation with EHS Manager as required by internal and external policies, regulations or permits. •Investigate, provide and implement corrective measures to near misses and all safety accidents. •Promote communication as well as good relations between production and maintenance department. •Develop and execute training plan or for skill trades. •Assign and reassign work as per emergencies and production priorities. •Ensure prompt repairs by responding to emergency breakdowns. •Review and assign work to skill trades in production maintenance for on time completion to maintenance schedules and scheduling system. •Schedules, coordinates, and execute Preventative Maintenance for all planned downtime events. •Supply reporting to Maintenance Manager on repairs including material consumption or part use, man hours, and downtime of equipment. •Coordinate outside contractors •Promote and drive continuous improvement using tools such as structured problem solving, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), specifically Autonomous and Preventative maintenance, and Kaizen, •Complete assigned Corrective/Preventative Action (CAPA) for non-conformances related to production or facilities equipment. •Support and provide maintenance support for 24/7 manufacturing operations. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience •Minimum of Associates degree in related discipline or equivalent. •1-2 years of experience in supervising hourly employees. Union experience preferred •Understanding and troubleshooting of electrical /mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systems. Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience •BS/BA degree in related discipline or advanced degree, where required. Technical degree preferred. •Strong understanding and knowledge in trouble shooting electrical /mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systems.
