Job Description:

Position Overview

The Supplier Performance Manager will be the interface and key contact for delivery schedules and delivery reliability regarding suppliers defined as critical as well as an escalation instance.  In this role, you will partner collaboratively with cross-functions and report directly to the Director of Procurement





  • Global monitoring of supply chains including manufacturing & logistics
  • Early identification of product problems for respective products in the manufacturing and supply chain processes
  • Supplier support to stabilize the manufacturing and supply chain on site
  • Bundling and reporting of current production/logistics and supply chain information to all defined interfaces (Project, Plant, QM, SCM etc.) across projects
  • Leading of task forces and special projects at the supplier
  • Capacity planning and scheduling at the supplier
  • Perform intensive tracking of railway components within the supply chain

Requirement knowledge/skills and abilities

  • 5+ years experience in Supplier Management
  • Expertise in production processes in manufacturing; railway industries is a plus
  • Excellent general technical understanding
  • Very good understanding of logistic processes
  • Experience in logistics processes and logistics strategy
  • SAP know-how
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Experience in Quality Management and Quality Assurance
  • Ability to open-mindedly cooperate, communicate, and act in an international team
  • Fluent in English, a second language is a plus
  • Very high flexibility
  • Willing to travel globally approx. > 40%
