Senior Manager – Magnet Excellence Customer Service - Magnetic Resonance (MR): This manager will be responsible for business development of multi-vendor opportunities to support non-Siemens branded magnets while measuring, reporting and driving the effectiveness of routine MRI- Magnet Service and Maintenance in the U.S. To support this mission, the successful candidate will utilize a team of direct reports and shared employees within a matrix organization to optimize productivity, quality, and customer excellence across the responsible area.
Establish processes and the necessary resources to support Siemens and non-Siemens branded magnets and their refrigeration systems within the multi-vendor business segment.
Maintain and develop a team of dedicated customer service engineers (CSEs) to perform routine maintenance, facilitate repairs, and drive proactive measures to improve quality, compliance, and cost effectiveness of MRI Magnet service delivery utilizing a balanced score card approach.
Coordinate shared resources across the U.S. to effectively support our installed base of MRI Magnets in locations where dedicated resources are not cost effective.
Ensure team members are properly trained and equipped with the necessary tooling to perform routine magnet refrigeration repairs and maintenance.
Implement processes to ensure team members are efficiently dispatched along with tooling and parts to perform routine repairs and maintenance.
Maintain proper inventory levels of basic and advanced tooling to meet the demands of a dynamic installed base.
Efficiently manage team work schedules to meet utilization, overtime targets, and T&E budgets.
Approve timesheets and expense reports within policy guidelines.
Coordinate resources and communication with stakeholders to effectively complete magnet thermal cycles using specialized tooling and processes.
Provide feedback to process owners and regional managers to address gaps or conflicts in training, resources, processes, or compliance.
Coach, develop and manage team members to be effective in their roles.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Bachelor degree or equivalent education/experience
Demonstrated skills in leading a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confident working in cross-functional teams
Experience using analytical tools such as Excel to develop reports.
Project management skills.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
3+ years of field service management experience
Previous experience with supporting MRI systems
Experience in a multi-vendor ecosystem
Bachelor degree in engineering, quality management, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience working in medical imaging industry.
Lean certified or experience working within a Lean Enterprise environment
