Customer Service Proposal Professional

 

Siemens Industries has produced Large Electrical Motor Products at our Norwood, Ohio location for over 120 years.  This is an opportunity to join an experienced customer service team in a growing manufacturing operation

 

Position Overview

 

  • The Customer Service Proposal Professional will interact with customers over the phone, via our web-based tools, written communications and in person for Siemens Large Electrical Motor Products

  • Interact directly with customers and factory to answer questions, solve problems, provide proposals, and maintain our company’s reputation for high-quality products & services

  • Reports to the Customer Service Manager in Norwood Ohio and will be a vital part of the Customer Service Organization

 

Responsibilities

 

Provide Customer Service needs including but not limited to:

    • Manage proposals to insure we meet customer expectations for proposal response times and following up to secure the orders

    • Handle order management functions from order entry through shipment

    • Provide required drawings, data sheets and curves

    • Maintain updated knowledge of company products and services in order to provide accurate information to customers

    • Promptly respond to customer questions submitted via email or our website

    • Engage with sales representatives, engineering and operations management to support customer requests

    • Work with proposal & technical product support teams as needed

    • Simultaneously manage numerous projects and priorities

       

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

 

  • Bachelor Degree and/or minimum of 5 years experiences in similar role

  • Motivated self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills with a positive and service-oriented attitude

  • Minimal out of town travel required

  • Proficiency with MS Office, SalesForce, SAP is desirable
