The IoT Services is a Consulting and Solution unit, which is a part of Siemens, to offer customers an end-to-end solution for their digital transformation. The unit combines more than 20 years of consulting experience, proprietary methodologies, technical talent, comprehensive domain know-how and large-system implementation experience. Position Overview
 
Siemens IoT Solution Group is looking for a leader in industrial IoT with strong hands on experience in Industrial sector industries such as Automotive, Aerospace, Chemicals, Oil/Gas, Mining, etc 

Looking for industry expert who has worked and/or consulted in one or multiple areas such as Manufacturing Operations, Automation, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics etc. Strong expertise is needed in operating processes around manufacturing, machine automation and Supply Chain areas

The ideal candidate should understand the landscape of major tools, applications and solutions used by major industrial companies such as MES, Sourcing, Historians, ERP, Warehouse Mgmt 

Should be forward looking able to provide guidance and expertise in the innovative IIoT and Industry 4.0 

Responsibilities

Working for IoT Solution Partner this role will be responsible for creating the industrial solution offering, client sales and shaping the client projects

Proactively analyze industry vertical needs, market, competitive and financial data to derive actionable insights to be able to offer strategic solutions based offering to customers

Will be responsible for creating industry centric solution architype, business cases, business centric KPIs, solution architecture, etc

Build and finalize customer proposals as well as lead negotiations until project signing. 

Be the industry leader and an essential contributing member of the project team, responsible for defining the approach/solution that can solve client issues. Be the guide on the best suited process changes and applications to clients current environment based on industry trends and Siemens Digital and IoT and Industrial expertise 

Understanding of business reporting, KPI and analytics used in production lines and logistics 

Overseeing project delivery of technology teams and supporting IoT and Digital project at clients

Leverage and align with other departments within IoT Services to deliver high quality winning IoT Services offering to Customers. 

Collaborate closely with all Siemens organizations (Operating Company and Strategic companies) to leverage Siemens customer intimacy, portfolio and domain know-how for a strong IoT solutions offering

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

US Citizenship is required
 
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Top Tier Consulting firm or 10 years of Industry experience focusing on Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain

Consultative Sales / Customer facing solution design experience 

Deep experience with Application usage and footprint in an Industrial/Manufacturing enterprise

Oversight and governance experience leading large strategic projects from ideation to delivery. 

Ability to combine Business with IT / IOT experience to offer IT related solutions. 

Experienced in an Agile environment with global offshore teams

Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM etc.)

Ability and willingness to learn new technologies quickly

Ability to travel to client sites 60-80% of the time

Have collaborated and worked closely with multidisciplinary and international teams to create a winning solutions.

Bachelor’s Degree Engineering Business
