Our customers are airports & airlines, courier express parcel providers, the US Postal Service and commercial postal service providers.

Job Description:

Siemens Postal, Parcel & Airport Logistics has an opening for a Senior Sales Support Specialist in our Customer Service business segment to generate Sales and provide pre-Sales and post-sales support.
 
Primary responsibilities include:
• Manage customer relationships with major clients including maximizing up selling opportunities to increase account profitability.
• Handle complex high-profile orders from quotation to final payment. Solves problems regarding product issues, including warranty and field service requests.
• Liaison between purchasing, engineering, accounting, shipping department and customer. Manage processing and ordering of parts needed for all operations.
• Partner with the financial team to generate finance reports. Complete month end closings of operational requirements for cost capture, billing and backlog.

• Responsible for accuracy and review of data submitted from field technicians. Ensures adherence to project and sales deadlines. Act as customer advocate to provide research, technical information, and product troubleshooting.
• Completes complex sales orders/purchase orders according to customer requirements.
• Manages account relationships to ensure timely shipment/billing of After Market Sales.
• Interfaces with internal Siemens departments to resolve complex configurations and technical issues.
• Independently performs full range of standard work for the professional field. Identifies and resolves complex problems by applying problem-solving skills in a timely manner.
• Good Customer relationship and sales skills.
• Self-motivated, high energy, team player. 
 
Education:
HS diploma or equivalent required. 5+ years of vocation/technical training or an Associates degree may be required. Specialized skill training/certification may be required.
 
Experience:
Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
Computer Skills Required:
SAP – Expert knowledge
MS Office – Outlook, Excel, Word
