TITLE:                         Product Manager

 

COMPANY:                 Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc.

 

DUTIES:                      Responsible for the product life cycle management of oncology image analysis software in the Siemens Molecular Imaging portfolio. Accountable for understanding the use of image analysis software for oncology applications in the medical imaging market and managing corresponding Siemens MI software products through their product life cycle, spanning initial product proposal through product definition, market entry and product phase out. Lead oncology product strategy and roadmap planning, inbound market analysis, competitive positioning and sales analysis. Solicit customer and user requirements and specify and maintain market and system requirements. Drive business case development, project scoping, requirements prioritization and concept development to create product releases that meet business objectives. Support R&D in realization of product releases through project reporting, risk analysis, change control and the gathering/dissemination of customer feedback. Contribute to the development of key product claims and a compelling marketing story for each release. Establish product configuration strategy, price book content and pricing. Develop key customer relationships and plan and direct customer use testing. Plan and conduct training and product rollout to applications and product specialists. Participate in install base, sustaining and product complaint management. Interface with marketing, sales, technology, engineering, manufacturing, service, clinical applications, legal, logistics, quality and regulatory.

 

REQUIREMENTS:       Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in one of the following areas: Medicine, Nuclear Medicine, General Science (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.), Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Engineering, Marketing or Business, or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation. Must have 4 years of experience working in a role in a medical imaging company (e.g. in Product Management, Marketing or R&D) or working in a clinical environment (radiology / nuclear medicine).  Must have at least  2 years of experience in Product management or Marketing in a medical imaging company. Approximately 25% travel required.

 

OTHER:                        Knoxville, TN.   40 hours/week; $172,300/year.
