Sr. Supply Chain Manager at Enlighted, Inc a Siemens Company in Sunnyvale, CA

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing Purchasing, Inventory control, Production Planning, Logistics, Order Fulfillment, Bill of materials management and Change control of Commercial IoT Sensory Network Products. By working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering and Sales teams, he/she will ensure that Enlighted, Inc is delivering on demand fulfillment on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Bill of Materials and change control.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, engineering and sales on internal and external demand and plan on production control appropriately.
  • Work on maintaining appropriate levels of inventory and buffer stock to cover sales forecast and for warranty support.
  • Managing vendor relationship with the manufacturers of microcontrollers, sensors, radio/WiFi components, connectors, cables and other passive components.
  • Work with contract manufacturers and system integration partners for assembly, test and direct order fulfillment of revenue and warranty orders.
  • Will also manage procurement of indirect materials (computers, services and publishing materials).
  • Will be responsible for cost reduction program and for running critical SCM metrics on cost reduction, on-time shipment, on-time delivery of revenue orders and meeting timely warranty replacement shipments.
  • Will be responsible to come up with processes covering purchasing, strategic sourcing, inventory min/max levels and direct order fulfillment.
  • Closely monitor and analyze the product mix and depot activity levels to determine appropriate stocking levels.
  • Reconcile the Microsoft Great Plains ERP system data/transactions with the reported actual transactions.
  • Reconcile the contract manufacturers, suppliers and vendor charges and review/sign-off on the invoices.
  • Work on month end and quarter end inventory reconciliation.
  • Work on new product introductions, supplier samples for validation and appropriate releases.
  • Provide Supply Chain Management reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with the use of Product Life cycle management software packages (Arena and/or Agile) and ERP software packages (Great Plains or equivalent).
  • Must have prior hands-on experience in managing supply chain activities of IoT sensor, Consumer and Commercial sensory level products
  • Ability to manage and coordinate several simultaneous tasks required to get the job done accurately, on time and within budget in a dynamic growth environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, analytical and be a problem solver.
  • Communicate effectively, both in writing and in speaking, with customers, co-workers, and various vendor contacts in a professional manner.
  • Ideal candidate will have BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering with 8-10 years of applicable experience in system level purchasing, product planning and logistics.
