Position Overview:
Position will be filled at the appropriate level depending on the experience level of the successful candidate and can be based out of Flanders, NJ, Tarrytown NY, Walpole MA or Glasgow, DE Healthineers sites.
The SAS Visual Analytics Developer / Data Analyst will be responsible for the support of advanced analytical processes and strategies supporting the Siemens Laboratory Diagnostics team through the development/configuration of dashboards, modeling and statistical data analysis that utilizes data fed from multiple sales, service and machine generated sources.   
• Fully responsible to partner with the data analytics community to create and automate visualizations of key business metrics dashboards in SAS Visual Analytics
Maintain adherence to project plan deliverables utilizing agile development and project management tools and skills
• Ongoing development of ad-hoc and production level analytics, providing insights from data to drive business improvement and solutions to business needs
• Develop fundamental statistical techniques and applications to gain additional insights from data
• Communicate and consult with partners at all levels
• Provide compelling, engaging and persuasive fact-based arguments and feedback to all report requestors / owners
• Set and manage priorities to optimally complete work tasks efficiently and within project requirements
• Work to designated deadlines and communicate progress as necessary
• Travel as needed to internal customer locations (~25%)

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics or equivalent field
• 3+ years combined similar work experience or advanced degree can be substituted for educational requirements
• 2+ years of experience with applied analytics, with the ability to integrate a multitude of data sources and provide a detailed and insightful output
• Full proficiency and demonstrated experience developing SAS Visual Analytics (SAS VA) dashboards
• Demonstrated ability to create, follow and complete a project within set timelines
• Proven ability working cross functionally with all stakeholders
• Demonstrated application of Advanced Analytical skills
• Demonstrated strong work performance, dedication and commitment in high visibility projects with tight timelines.
• Excellent work and communication skills

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Data Analytics or equivalent field
• 3-5 years of experience with applied analytics, with the ability to integrate a multitude of data sources and provide a detailed and insightful output
• 3-5 years of project participation with 1 year of project lead experience
• Experience interpreting complex model results and present meaningful, intuitive dashboards for advanced investigation and reporting
• Experience within a clinical laboratory company and support of service support operations
• Multi-lingual skills
