Solutions is seeking a Sr. Commercial Project manager/Segment Controller for the Onshore and Offshore segments of the SLN Oil & Gas business. This exciting position will enable the qualified individual the opportunity to participate in the full project lifecycle. The selected candidate will have commercial responsibility for developing offers with the sales team, work in partnership with the technical head to drive business results, as well as having full responsibility for all commercial aspects of assigned projects through closure. The Senior Commercial Project Manager has responsibility for all financial and commercial aspects related to assigned projects in the Solutions Business Unit. The Commercial Project Manager (CPM) is appointed by the Finance Manager at or before the award of each contract. In partnership with the Project Manager, the CPM is responsible for the commercial, financial, and contractual aspects of project execution. This includes monitoring cash flow, revenue, and margin development, financial forecasting and reporting, and maintaining the project within SAP.
The Segment Controller works closely with the technical head and the entire team to provide transparent and all-encompassing controlling, ensuring that all financial aspects are considered in each business decision and that all financial processes are managed accurately. They ensure that KPIs are controlled in a detailed and accurate manner and processes are optimized to suit business needs while ensuring compliance with required standards. In support of the sales process, the Segment controller will complete the commercial aspects of the sales process, and in partnership with the sales team, ensure that required processes are followed.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• 5+ years of experience in similar role
Certification for C projects or Senior CPM
• BS/BA in Finance or related discipline
• Ability to read and interpret contract language to ensure proper financial treatment
• Ability to successfully work in team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to convert large volumes of data into actionable information
• Strategic thinking, creative problem solving, and financial modeling skills
• Deep appreciation for sound finance processes and ability to identify, develop, and drive operational improvements
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• 20% travel required

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• Strong working knowledge of SAP (FI/CO and PS), Essbase and Hyperion preferred
• Must have Intermediate
skills in Excel to include (V-lookups, Pivot tables, Sum if Formulas)
