Job Description:

Position Overview/Summary:

As a Cost Control Analyst (Manufacturing) you will be responsible for monitoring material and labor targets. In addition, you will overseeing actuals for procurement and manufacturing to ensure accurate forecasting, financial reporting, and communication flow across the organization for costing improvements.

You will be responsible for multiple projects from pre-contract to shipment and have knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost controlling functions while working with cost estimating, production, supply chain, and project management teams.

Your Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Establish initial targets for factory scope

  • Lead meetings with the factory to determine estimate to completes and estimate at completes analyzing variances from the plan to actuals

  • Calculate and report variances for changes to estimate at completes

  • Asses risks and support mitigation activities

  • Provide cost basis to support change management

  • Track trends to provide solutions for cost reductions and improving processes

 Required Skills/Experience/Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree (Accounting/Finance)

  • Up to 2 years of financial analysis experience

  • Demonstrate interpersonal, communication and presentation skills at all levels

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Program (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

  • Partnering as a team player and committed to driving change

 Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • Working knowledge of MS excel and project

  • Hands on experience with Oracle and Disco Reports
