Manages all aspects of the services business associated with Siemens PL projects at Newport News Shipbuilding, drives new business opportunities working closely with the Sales Account Manager, manages the customer relationship with Siemens PL, manages interactions with Product Development and manages associated resources supporting the Newport News Program.
Coordinates and monitors all technical projects for a major customer engagement or program office with multiple, large, complex projects. Serves as liaison between the company and client in order to ensure all
targets and requirements are met. Ensures that completed on schedule and within budget. Works on highly complex projects with multiple projects occurring simultaneously. Responsible for long-term, significant new business with their customer. Mentor and coach for Technical Project Management.
Basic knowledge of Siemens product suite or similar.
Project management skills. Manage scope, budget, timing and resources to deliver PLM projects. Works as a consulting team member or an individual technical consultant on for-fee project implementation, enhancement, integration, or audit projects.
Expertise and work efforts are focused on the analysis of the customer's business goals, objectives and needs and the general business environment.
Usually works at customer's site.
Works on highly complex projects with more than 4 databases to interface with and require longer than 12 months to deploy.
Bachelors: computer science or engineering
