Baseline Requirements:


  • Available Fall 2019 for Part-Time work

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student



  • Minimum 3.0 GPA


  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company

Information Technology


Cyber Security Student Intern


As a Cyber Security Student Intern, you will be integrated into both the Client Management and Security organization, handling Client Security activities. You will champion projects to:


    1. Come up with new ideas for enhancing security processes

    2. Provide new ideas to enhance security by benchmarking industry best practices

    3. Engage with the infrastructure team and IT local support to coordinate the detection and remediation effort for the security vulnerabilities found by various monitoring tools

    4. Coordinate activities of the Client Security team

    5. POC new ideas and determine the suitability of deployment in the organization.

    6. Work with Infrastructure to help deploy


 


Organization Requirements:



  • Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field with specialization in Information Security/Cyber Security


  • Graduating in Fall 2020 or later


  • Able to work between 10 – 20 hours during the Fall of 2019 with the potential to work full-time in Summer 2020


  • Interested in a career in Cyber Security


  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills


  • Result-driven, detail-oriented


  • Quick learner and team player


  • Working knowledge Python or scripting languages would be beneficial
