Position Overview:

Siemens is in search of a project and field service support role experienced in being able to support the activities associated with project management, engineering and field service support activities.  

 

This role will be a very exciting and challenging role which will require someone who is able and willing to support a vast number of different activities and roles in a fast-paced growing environment.  These roles include logistics support, parts ordering, tool inventory, documentation support, billing support, invoicing support, onboarding of new employees as well as some general administrative support for about twenty people both in the office and out in field locations.    

 

The ideal candidate would be someone who has a background in supporting engineers, project managers and field service engineers in an industrial engineering type environment.  Strong multitasking skills and ability to learn and be an independent worker able to manage their assignments with minimal supervision.       

 
Responsibilities

• Part Ordering, Expediting, and Logistics Support

• Tooling Inventory and Calibration

• Engineering Documentation Support

• Billing and Invoicing Support, Service Time Tracking

• Install base database entry and service tool ticket entry.

• OnBoarding of Employees

• General Administrative Support activities

• Purchasing (Office Supplies/Tooling)

• IT Ticket management

• Training scheduling and tracking

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience

• Education: College Degree preferred, or equivalent experience  

• 4-7 years’ experience in related field

• Strong organization and excellent time management.

• Strong verbal and written English communication.

• Strong computer background

 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience

• Education: College Degree or equivalent experience

• Engineering support functions

• Finance support functions

• SAP experience preferred 

• CAD experience a plus
