Position Overview

Solution Partner/Head of IoT Solutions for (Vertical DI/CLM/Energy&SI) in (Europe/North America/China) 


As the Solution Partner/Head of Solutions for Digital Industries in region you are responsible for Sales and Implementation of our growing IOT Solution Service business. You will be responsible to establish and grow a profitable business in the respective Industry and Region, by defining and implementing a solid growth strategy, acquiring new customers and leveraging existing and new IOT Solution Service Offerings.

•Establish a pipeline and drive closure on sales with defined financial targets for IoT Solution Service business  for your specific vertical & region. Responsible to  provide forecast, scoping, planning, cost estimation and pricing

•Lead customer negotiations on C-Level with a solution oriented consultative selling and creative mindset leveraging Siemens OpCo’s domain expertise across industries and IT / Architecting knowledge (OT+IT)

•You will team up with our IOT Consulting Partners and the Service Line Leaders to develop new services and solutions. You will orchestrate specific value propositions towards our customers while leveraging our internal and external partner expertise to create a unique value proposition, basis for your consultative selling approach. 

•Within the Siemens OpCo’s, (Digital Industries/Smart Infrastructure/….) businesses, you will support the development and implementation in offering new services and solutions for a winning IoT offering

•As a senior leader of the IoT team, you will serve as point of contact for all issues concerning IoT Solution Services for the Op/Co’s (DI and SI and…)

Required Skills 

•Being an entrepreneur and thought leader in your business with a strong customer focused, Ownership and value selling mindset, including track record developing and closing opportunities

•10+ years of experience in this Industry field, preferred including Consulting, Selling and Implementing with focus on service and/or solutions. 

•Understanding of the customer journey:  Anticipating what digital transformation means for our customers and proactively developing solutions together with the partners to provide customer focused solutions.

•Domain know-how of assets and processes in Market Segment industry to ensure industry-specific proposal and use case development

•Understanding of technology stack including IoT architecture, edge devices, sensors, hardware, security, IT, OT and AI.

•Having a collaborative growth culture and inclusionary mindset by working seamlessly across seniority and our Siemens OpCp, to jointly grow IOT Service business

•International working experience,  international teams contribution, as well collaboration with customers across borders.
