Engineering Leadership Development Program
The Engineering Leadership Development Program consists of four, six-month rotational assignments and formal training over the course of two years, providing you with the exposure, network, and practical experience you will need to discover your own personal version of success and add value throughout your career.
The Program combines challenging six month business assignments with a support infrastructure of experienced engineering managers, giving you the tools to assimilate and develop effective workplace competencies. Specific work assignments will involve a wide range of functions, including product design, feasibility analysis, quality assurance, manufacturing, project management, service, product management, applications engineering and supply chain management. Your rotations would be based upon specific business needs and your demonstrated results and abilities. Potential rotations may include:
Product Design and Development: Advanced development of new products or applications; Design-to-cost / Design-to-manufacture projects; Engineering testing and certification; Reverse engineering analysis / Modeling and analysis
Engineering Testing: Gain valuable experience with a wide variety of products; Testing and diagnostics, including internal testing and procedures; Exposure to regulatory and agency standards
Product/Quality Engineering: Implementation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes; Revamping existing engineering processes and maintaining existing products; Design implementation, product yield improvement
Product Management: Product roadmap development / New Product Introduction; Product expertise - customer needs analysis, competitive product portfolio analysis, product lifecycle management; Product support – business planning, training, & development of product collateral
Career Track: Upon successful completion of the program, you may have the opportunity to become one of the following - Design Engineer, Application Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Hotline Support, Product Marketing Specialist, New Product Introduction Leader (Small to Medium)or Sales Engineer.
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Education: - Undergraduate student in junior year pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required
