Position Overview

Employee Communications Professional for LDA Drives creates and implements employee specific communications for Large Drives Applications US business unit.  Works closely with Employee Communications Strategic Team Leader.

 

Responsibilities

    • Effectively develops and delivers compelling communications using current and emerging technology to drive action and engagement.

    • Contributes to the development of strategies and advises senior managers in creating and refining key employee messages, speeches and presentations.

    • Aligns messages with company objectives through outstanding writing and storytelling with an understanding of employee information needs.

    • Demonstrates a keen eye for audience engagement and a passion for driving change through a variety of communication channels.

    • Supports and executes an engaging communications strategy that brings to life the business strategy and transformation for all employees.

    • Demonstrates strong project management skills, excellent communication skills, resourcefulness and the ability to analyze metrics and draw actionable conclusions.

    • May communicate to employees in other LDA Americas regions including Canada, Mexico and South America.

    Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

    • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Communications or related disciplines
    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Employee Communications, or other related communications. 
    • 10-15% travel required

    Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

    • Preferred experience includes communicating in manufacturing and industrial equipment businesses (Motors, VFDs, Electrical Panels, etc.)
    • Locations: New Kensington, PA; Alpharetta, GA; Norwood, OH.
