Head of Commercial Project Management
Position Overview

Our scale, global reach and proven track record ensure that we will play a central role in shaping the energy landscape of the future. Our Onshore organization is looking for a highly motivated Head of Commercial Project Management candidate who will develop and grow the Onshore Commercial Project Management organization for Siemens Gamesa for North America. This position will report directly to the Region North America CFO. The position will be based in Orlando, Florida.
  • Lead team to commercially execute projects from O/E to Project Closeout (Warranty phase) for Onshore North America region
  • Ensure compliance with all published accounting guidelines (FRGs, IFRS 15)
  • Provide commercial support for all contractual obligations such as milestone invoicing, SCO execution, LD calculations, and general PM financial support
  • Prepare and facilitate monthly project status meetings with management
  • Ensure project handover from sales to execution
  • NCC reporting
  • Forecast project financials on a monthly basis including OE, REV, GM, Cash, MW
  • Analyze FC variances and provide explanations and solutions
  • Annual Budget Cycle
  • Monthly Cost Out Program Support/Audits
  • Establish Allocations/Rates
Required Knowledge/Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • 10+ years of financial experience
  • Experience in contracts
  • Advanced project execution skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Established ownership mindset
  • Entrepreneurial and enterprising mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and present complex business topics in a logical and condensed way to management
  • Established ability to lead strategic initiatives and change management
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics field
  • Strong MS Office (word, power point, excel) skills
  • Estimated 10% of travel
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • Accounting knowledge
  • SAP knowledge
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or Commercial Law
