Job Description:

 

Site Commissioning Supervisor 

     
On behalf of commissioning, be responsible for safe execution of projects on site
within the project’s time frame and financial restraints according to the
contract. While continuing to protect SGRE’s interests the Commissioning Supervisor
should endeavour to maintain a good relationship with the customer and focus on
customer satisfaction


In accordance with the contract and QA/EHS system be compliant with local
legislation and in accordance with SGRE’s internal guidelines at all times

Competent in commissioning and basic troubleshooting of turbines on site.

 

 

Responsibilities

·       
Responsible for organisational site setup and daily commissioning management on site

·       
Overall responsible for the site commissioning activities, commissioning setup and
general commissioning parts and tooling

·       
Overall responsible for communication internally and externally on commissioning
activities and progress.

·       
Ensure financial control of project commissioning

·       
Responsible for executing commissioning targets, milestones and schedule

·       
Responsible for efficient implementation of commissioning in compliance with customer and
subcontractor contracts

·       
Responsible for monitoring parts, equipment and tools for commissioning

·       
Responsible for ensuring that commissioning work is performed in agreement with QA
regulations/standards of SWP

·       
Responsible for continuous improvements on site and participate in and support business
improvement programs

·       
The employee is obligated to keep him - or herself informed of the QA system and
the procedures related to the position and to work in accordance with the
requirements defined in the QA system

The employee is obligated to keep him - or herself informed of the SGREs Processes
and the procedures related to the position and to work in accordance with the requirements
defined by SGRE.

·       
The employee is obligated to keep him - or herself informed of the procedures
relevant to the position. This includes waste sorting and handling of chemicals
in the work area. The employee is obligated to react on observed nonconformities
to the written procedures and to contribute to the improvement of the environment

       
When not acting as a lead Commissioner, will act in a Commissioning or Service
Technician role preforming commissioning and or service activities on the
turbine.

Insure 100% compliance in safety processes and procedures to insure safe working conditions and environment for all personnel

 

 

Competencies/Required skills:

 

  • 5+ years electrical/mechanical experience
  • Technical/practical education
  • Ability to work within a process environment
  • Experience in working with complex contracts
  • Experience in managing and leading teams and working with subcontractors and clients
  • Experience in working in a multicultural environment
  • English orally and in writing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly experienced in the use of MS Word and Excel and other on-line corporate programs
  • Management, including coaching and mentoring preferred
  • Be able to perform without supervision Full Commissioning, Pre-commissioning (on generators or load-banks), SCADA installation and updates, Software upload, Troubleshooting and Final commissioning. Standstill maintenance
  • Good cultural understanding  and diversity
  • 100% travel
