Additionally this is a remote based position, a work from home position, and as long as you live close enough to a major airport we would like you to consider this position.
You will be under the supervision of the Vice-President of Sales, and in collaboration with the sales and development team, the selected candidate will be responsible to support sales team and OEM partners in the development and growth of FIN Framework Software License sales.
As Technical Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:
Assisting Sales, OEM and Distribution Partners to achieve their sales quotas by:
Working with prospective customers, and other J2 Sales team members to increase the license sales of FIN Framework deployments.
Provide support via technical presentations and FIN Framework software demonstrations.
Provide system design and product customization and integration options for customers and prospective customers.
Provide engineering and programming assistance for new customers and assist in understanding the application of integration of multiple protocols and 3rd party applications.
Provide assistance in understanding IT and cyber security related issues as it relates to BAS
Provide web based instruction to Sales and customers on new products and applications
Investigate competitor products to understand weaknesses and strengths.
Collaboratively with the development team, assist in the development of new product specifications.
Minimum Required Qualification & Education.
Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Minimum 5 years experience in Customer Service and/or Technical Support Services.
Knowledge in HVAC and Building Automation Systems (BAS) Knowledge of LonWorks and / or BACnet communication protocols Knowledge of control system estimating, design, programming and engineering, especially Lon, Niagara Framework and BACnet.
Development of web based BAS graphical user interfaces
Knowledgeable in IT technologies HTML, OPC, SNMP, JSON, MQTT, network management
Experience in providing technical support on BAS
Excellent customer presentation skills
