SUMMARY OF POSITION


The Controlling Intern may have a combination of responsibilities that include Project Work and Daily Operational tasks. The intern will receive an introduction to the controlling function and provide additional manpower in the performance controlling team for data compilation and manufacturing cost analysis.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include any of the following.


  • Manufacturing cost analysis

  • Cost center controlling for the factory cost centers

  • Assist with monthly over/ under absorption

  • Support monthly forecast process

  • Suggest Excel templates

  • Transfer HQ knowledge to increase planning efficiency

  • Other duties and projects may be assigned as needed by department manager


 


JOB REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS


 


  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably 3 years into pursuing) in business or related discipline

  • Ability to conduct research, analyze data and relay findings

  • Demonstrates attention to detail

  • Effective communication in both verbal and written form.

  • Communicates information to and seeks information from the right people in performing job responsibilities

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines

  • Knowledge of SAP and HQ guidelines regarding factory controlling

  • HQ experience in related field.
