For our MO TPE in Beijing, we are looking for a Solution Manager.


Position overview

As the Business Development Manager eBus for our Mobility Rail Electrification, you will be responsible to develop the sales channels and customer relationship for our eBus charging infrastructure portfolio. You will work closely with the eBus solution manager internally to develop the eBus business, and closely work with Mobility Key Account Manager for the market approach.

What are my responsibilities?

Focus on Business development and market transparency:
Drive business development for new portfolio. Analyze, understand and shape the eBus charging market and introduce Siemens portfolio to the market;
Define and elaborate on eBus focus cities, refine eBus Go To Market and sales strategy, execute on it;
Monitor the market for emerging opportunities and position Siemens for effective engagement;

Develop Sales Channels and business models:
Develop market access, drive sales promotion and portfolio promotion;
Find partners, Find test customer, implement test and pilot line;

Develop eBus portfolio expertise:
Develop and maintain subject matter expertise and drive eBus industries;
Develop a Knowledge of the latest policies/programs that impact the industry;
Work with technical solution manager to assist customers in correct application of Siemens’ products;

Sales targets and collaboration:
Properly identify, pursue and close prospects, develop and execute yearly sales plan;
Develop relationships with employees at all levels – including executives – within distribution network;

What do I need to qualify for this job?

University Master's Degree in with major in technology and science, or a different suitable academic background;

Sale experience, technical understanding, Understanding the public transportation market;

Thinking in customer requirements, be able to derive new business models, think outside of the box, drive new ideas;

Strong ability and willingness for cross functional collaboration and communication inside Siemens, in China, abroad, and with external partners;

Presentation skills internal and external;

Fluent skill of English in listening, speaking, reading and writing.


What else do I need to know?

The Siemens Mobility provides solutions to customers whose business models are based on optimizing passenger and freight transport. The Division bundles all Siemens business related to management of international traffic, transport, and logistics. This includes railway automation, infrastructure logistics, intelligent traffic and transport systems, and technologies for developing the infrastructure for electric mobility.
