Engagement Architect (Business Consultant)

To support our growth, in our “Digitalization changes everything!” journey, we are looking for an Engagement Architect to strengthen our Benelux Professional Services department responsible for Solution Definition & Selling.

As part of our team you are the bridge between the Customer, Siemens Sales and the Services team responsible for helping steer and facilitate services opportunities.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

As Engagement Architect you will actively maintain and develop relationships within customer accounts and drive the positioning and messaging of the customer engagement. Parallel to this you will work together with the sales and presales team to identify and lead the engagement with all relevant external and internal Partners, advocating PLM and the value that we can deliver.

As an integral member of the PLM bid proposal team, defining the service proposition with sales, presales and services, communicating a clear vision of the planned project objectives, of low to medium complexity scope, will be a key responsibility. Along with engaging customer stakeholders to address the importance of attention for organizational change management in relation to implementing successful PLM solutions. With the support of relevant subject matter guides and Project Management, you will help create the different artifacts like the brief Solution Outline, Rough order of magnitude, contract, margin calculation and risk assessment, supporting the commercial negotiations and project initiation.

Profile:

Preferably you have experience or affinity in consulting activities in the area of complex IT transformations or are passionate about technology and also have a strong affinity with today’s business challenges within the IT solution and definition & selling business.

  • Bachelor/master’s degree in industrial engineering or International Business Administration.
  • Several years of proven experience in Professional IT Services and relevant methodologies.
  • Demonstrable background in PLM and technologies desirable, preferably including the implementation of Siemens Digital Industries Softwareproducts.
  • Excellent project management skills; can effectively manage and follow through on tasks and projects to successful conclusion.
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch (or ability to learn).
  • Availability to travel within Benelux region.
