Come and join our team as Head of Pathology Solution Design.

Alongside managing a team of Solution Architects and Sales Managers you will be responsible for the construction of winning Managed Pathology customer solutions and solution messaging.

The solutions will often be pan-pathology involving a portfolio of Siemens products, 3rd party products and internal and external services. You will translate customer needs and the shared insights that have gained from the customer's decision stakeholders into a solution that will deliver uniquely for their situation, and that delivers USPs and unique value that is unable to be matched by competition. You will also produce a communications plan and stakeholder messaging matrix.

You will directly contribute to Siemens’ reputation as an expert IVD company and strengthen Siemens Healthineers position as a key Managed Pathology Services provider. You will have to anticipate and monitor developments with the NHS to ensure the solution architect team is fully aware and can tailor offerings in conjunction with the bid team accordingly. You will lead the identification strategic market needs, trends and service delivery models and advise the management team on possible new operational set-ups to maximise win rates, revenue and profit potential.

What do I need to qualify for the role?

Prior experience managing a complex product line, preferable within the Diagnostics field

Significant experience of working in the Clinical Diagnostics Marketplace, with experience within the NHS or medical device companies.

Knowledge of laboratory medicine as practiced in National Health Service Laboratories

Knowledge of NHSI strategy, Networks and Key Stakeholders

Degree or relevant professional qualification.

Formal marketing training e.g. certificate or diploma in Business or equivalent relevant experience  

Knowledge of the Siemens product portfolio

Proven experience in responsibility for process implementation and process improvement.

Experience of managing and leading small or medium sized teams.
