As Sales & Operations Planner you contribute to develop a master plan that helps the organization to navigate in an increasingly variable environment. You are stimulated by working in a setting that drives continuous improvement and development projects as part of the day to day business, where one important aim is to increase the level of digitalization.  You will report to the global head of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) for the aftermarket organization. The function is part of Supply Chain.

The challenge

  • Ownership of part of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, with responsibility to deliver results and drive development activities for that area
  • Supporting creation of strategic demand plan for long lead time items
  • Actively contribute to digitize and automate the S&OP process to increase the quality of the deliverables 
  • Part of a global team where much emphasis is to streamline and optimize processes
  • Deliver business intelligence reports to various interfaces around the business, as such supporting strategic decisions on investments, R&D business cases etc

Who are you?

  • Relation builder that enjoys facing many interfaces
  • Relevant university degree (preferably within the logistics area) or corresponding knowledge
  • Knowledge of S&OP process and way of working is highly meritorious
  • Organized, analytical and structured
  • High knowledge and experience of working in data structures
  • High knowledge of Excel, Access, SAP
  • Fluent in English
