Job Description

The Product Owner is primarily responsible for the definition of the features and to provide the best solution for tackling customer needs which are defined by Product management. He/she interacts with product manager, analysts and other product owners, Siemens internal and external customers, research and SW development teams to realize the features of a SW product over the whole product life cycle.

 The duties of a product owner throughout the product lifecycle include:
•Understand product backlog and relative priority of features on that backlog
•Define concepts along with the most suitable solution for a customer need and map these features from clinical use to engineering requirement
•Coordinate with other Product Owners and teams to ensure coherence of features across applications
•Discuss concepts with end user and improve the same based on feedback
•Collaborate with R&D teams to find technical solutions
•Splitting the concept features into smaller user stories and grooming the team on these features
•Perform risk analysis of the features
•Responsible for authoring and delivering functional and non-functional specifications
•As a part of the scrum team, define acceptance criteria for the features, groom the team and verify once they are developed,  review test specifications and lead clinical evaluations
•Evaluate software developed from clinical use perspective, work with Usability engineers to ensure high level of usability and customer acceptance
•Work with technical authors where necessary to contribute to and review user documentation
•Provides clinical domain, applications training and support for engineering team in development of imaging software

 What do I need to qualify for this job?                   

Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Tech (Computer Science, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Engineering)
 
Experience and skill set 
•Around 3+ years of industry experience preferably in Medical Imaging domain
•About 3+ years of experience in software requirement analysis
•Hands on experience in requirement management (elicitation, documentation and management)
•Extensive experience in using requirement engineering tools
•Sound knowledge of product management methods and processes over the whole product life cycle
•Has good exposure to external regulatory compliance requirements
•Experience in Agile software development
