Engineering Center of ExCellence – Who are we?
Do you know what has in common “Rits” Hotel in Paris, new terminal at Munich airport and European Parliament in Brussels? The thing which joins those different at the first sight locations is the fact that building automation of all of them was designed by Bulgarian Engineers who are part of the rapidly developing unit at Siemens Bulgaria – Engineering Center of ExCellence (GECC).
The portfolio of Engineering Center of ExCellence covers the full cycle of building technologies including PLC programming; graphic visualisation and control through management station; most innovative systems for room automation; fire notification; access control etc.
Engineering Center of ExCellence best records: Founded at 1998 with 3 engineers. Currently 110 project engineers are working in the Center located in 2 offices in Bulgaria – Sofia and Plovdiv. So far more than 4300 projects in more than 20 countries have been executed by our engineers who won over 30 cups in various sport competitions beside projects execution. With core tasks: Engineering of Graphics for the Building Management system (BMS); Programming/Migration on Automation Level of Heating, Cooling and Air Conditioning (HVAC) plants.
What should you bring with you?
• University degree in Engineering - Automation, Electronics or
• Very good command of English, German or French. A second foreign language will be considered as a serious advantage
• Experience or knowledge of Simatic S7 or any other controllers; BMS or HVAC systems will be considered as a big advantage.
• Advanced computer skills and experience in multinational work environment
