Job Description

What are my responsibilities?

Commodity Team

Coordinate and manage team to achieve optimum conditions and savings through collaborative, targeted activities and to increase profit from regional cross-sectoral or sectoral sourcing.

 

Negotiations/Contracts

Define and implement negotiation concepts and strategies to maximize savings.

Negotiate frame contracts; define core assortment; document frame contracts in relevant Supplier Management IT-systems.

 

Commodity strategies

Contribute to global Commodity strategy; implement and communicate the strategy in the region to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.

 

Key projects

Define and drive localization/regionalization, 2nd source projects.

 

E-Procurement

Foster usage of eProcurement tools (eRfX, eAuction/ eBidding); ensure that contract structures are transferable in eCatalogues (applicable esp. for Indirect Material)

to improve the Procurement process and efficiency

 

Savings and relevant KPI

Generate, document and implement savings (DI 1-3), e.g. CNI; plan, monitor and report on relevant KPI (e.g. CNI, eAuctions, Supply Base Optimization, FPL, GVS share) and ensure the target achievement within the respective Commodity in the region to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent.

 

Supplier Management

Perform Supplier Management: Supplier Qualification, documentation and communication of FPL suppliers, regular supplier and strategic evaluations and supplier development to obtain and develop the best suppliers and to ensure an optimum supply chain

 

Knowledge management

Forward systematically all relevant Procurement related project information (e.g. updated contractual conditions, Supplier Management data) to keep all project participants up to date

 

Communication

Maintain regular contact with relevant interfaces

to gather information, fully inform network partners and ensure information exchange with relevant interfaces

 

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Several years working in procurement and familiar with electronical market and components. 

Advanced Level.

Cross function leader experience is preferred.

Desirable: Working abroad and a degree of orientation capability to other cultures.
