As a key member of the Global Communications Team, you will partner closely with all corporate core, global communications, divisional and regional organizations to:
  • Represent and concisely convey the strategy of CC (the “Communications Story”) with confidence
  • Act as trusted advisor to the Head of Communications and represent her on matters of strategic relevance
  • Create storylines & content that represent to the external world the Siemens communications digital transformation journey 
  • Structure and lead the implementation of organizational changes, as required by the “Vision 2020+” company strategy and as it applies to the global communications organization
  • Operate as a primary liaison to the Divisions, Regions, Corp Core and Corp Service Units, negotiate on behalf of the Head of Communications in key projects
  • Conceptualize speeches and presentations, prepare relevant briefings; conduct insightful analyses on varied topics, as and when required, for the Head of Corporate Communications
  • Prepare, actively participate in and facilitate internal meetings (including leadership workshops and conferences). Represent and protect the interests of Siemens Global Corporate Communications in external meetings / panel discussions
  • Produce and/or coordinate internal and external communications for Global Corporate Communications, e.g., global Town Halls, speeches, announcements, blogs and mailings
  • Control the information flow for the office of the Head of Communications: emails, articles, blog posts, speeches, requests, informational memos
  • Independently assess and analyze issues/risks and propose various solutions/options; drive the planning, execution and implementation of strategic decisions taken by the Head of Corporate Communications
  • Work on global communications projects as part of international and agile project teams/squads.  Lead global projects as a project manager/squad leader

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds.
  • At least 10-15 years of professional experience across various communication disciplines, e.g., media relations, speechwriter, content creation, etc.
  • A good overview and strong, established network in Global Corporate Communications is a plus
  • Thrives in a demanding, dynamic and fast-changing environment; able to produce highest quality results under time pressure
  • Able to work effectively across the multi-cultural and highly complex Siemens matrix organization 
  • Strong aptitude to work and influence across all levels of the organization, up to and including executive management; experience working with the Executive Committee and having gained insights into a business division / region is a plus
  • Strategic thinker and solution orientated; able to develop and implement strategies and pragmatic solutions
  • Uses digital tools effectively and with ease; knows how, what and when to use in his/her work to bring impact and efficiency
