Job Description

Field Service Technician is required to install, maintain and repair gas engines installed on different locations. Their maintenance, repair and installation duties may be performed at client´s home or in a place of business.


Field Service Technician usually perform many of the following tasks: 

  • Completing preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance and field modifications on the installed gas engine equipment.
  • Interacting with clients to solve their day to day issues.
  • Installing new hardware and software.
  • Maintaining regular communications with customer and back office to ensure follow up of different topics
  • Troubleshooting on different gas engine equipment
  • Tracking the data fleet and issue reports. 
  • SupeRvising subcontractors. 
  • Teaming up with other professionals.
  • Planning Service intervals.
  • Maintaining tools and test equipment ensuring they are properly calibrated
  • Ordering required spare parts.
  • Leading groups of subcontractors
  • Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such issuing reports, service logs etc.
  • Identifying and participating in sales opportunities.

  • High commitment with Health and Safety and quality.
  • Having mechanical/Instrumentation&controls skills and used to work on gas engines.
  • Having good knowledge about gas engines. 
  • Experience on troubleshooting.
  • Being able to work alone or with a team.
  • Experience on troubleshooting.
  • Having interpersonal skills. 
  • Being self-motivated. 
  • Having excellent problem-solving abilities. 
  • Being organized and proactive.

  • Qualifications&RequirementsField Service Technician job placements require candidates having a Technical engineering or Professional Training grade II.
  • Two or more years experience working on service of gas engines.
  • Available for been mobilized at short notice. 
  • Being able to work on weekends and bank holidays.
  • To be part of the 24/7 customer support service.
  • Being able to travel frequently.
  • Valid driven License.
  • Level of English (communication and writing)
  • Computer skills
  • Communications skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Ability to multy tasks activities.
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
  • Comply with internal and external regulations.
