Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

The sensors of different 3D metal printers produce a large amount of data which require filtering, sorting, classification and analysis to create a meaningful insight from the data. We are currently looking for several  smart students who wantsto assist us with the following tasks:

  • Data Anayltics for Additive Manufacturing Process Monitoring

  • Connecting AM machine data bank with cloud network

  • Data acquisition, handling and aggregating to form meaningful insights of the data

  • Applying image processing and intelligent algorithms to detect defects from the images

  • Supporting the cloud-based application development

Your qualifications – solid and appropriate

  • You are studying computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or related course with strong programming focus

  • You are looking for a long-term challenging student job (15 - 20 h/ week)

  • Knowledge of Image Processing and Statistics is must.

  • Excellent programming skills e.g. C++, C#, Python, Java or HTML

  • Self-motivated and prepared to dig into new and challenging problems

  • Good German and English skills

    The content and scope of the work can be adapted according to your interests and the type of work. In addition, you can acquire a broad knowledge of Additive Manufacturing AM and contribute to the current state of research
