Technology is key to making cities fit for the future and Siemens is committed to developing these sustainable solutions. The sector’s global “Center of Competence Cities” is based at the Crystal and enables city experts and high-tech engineers to work together side by side.
The Urban Development Team at the Crystal aims to illustrate to cities the environmental, economic and efficiency benefits of improving, expanding and electrifying their infrastructure.

The role’s scope of work is mainly to support the Urban Development Team with desk-based research and support ongoing engagement with cities, providing ideas into thought leadership in the field of urban sustainability. We are looking for someone with a background in city planning, urban design and or city management. The internships are paid and will last for 12 months starting June/July 2019.

- · Knowledge of urban global initiatives and organizations
