Job Description

Principal Accountabilities:

 Supports qualified and experienced engineers in their duties of administration, technical documentation etc. 
 May also have more specialized profile to support testing programs, by preparing and completing defined

 test series for assigned products and systems.

 

  • Gathers, records and maintains technical specific information.

  • Prepares charts, graphs and diagrams to illustrate various procedures.

  • Completes testing and troubleshooting in a variety of tasks.

  • Completes documentation of internal procedures via simple text, charts, graphs and diagrams. 

  • Maintains maps, detail design drawings, graphs, as-built drawings, structural detail drawings and other graphic engineering records.

  • Collects codes and posts data from prescribed sources for input to computer.

  • Corrects and updates existing records and prepares data for analysis.

  • Participates in the setup of test sequences and executes the respective tests.

  • Sets up and assembles the test bench environment, while adhering to the given test bench specification.

  • Compiles test data from performed testing and reviews test results with engineering personnel.

 

EHS Responsibilities:

Siemens Technical Support Engineers have a duty to themselves, their colleagues, the community and the environment, to work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner ensuring that they:

 

·          Take action to prevent work-related accidents, ill health and environmental incidents

·          Report EHS near misses, unsafe acts and conditions immediately

·          Suggest areas for improvement to managers and supervisors

·          Report all EHS incidents however minor to supervision

·          Assist in the assessment of Risk

·          Follow the EHS rules relating to their job

·          Use the control measures, protective clothing, equipment and devices in order to conduct their

             assignment in a safe manner

·          Co-operate in screening and health surveillance procedures as required

·          Co-operate with all EHS instructions & procedures

 

Key Competencies Requirement:

 

  1. 10 years’ relevant experience

  2. Strong customer focus and passion for delivery & customer satisfaction.

  3. Ability to interface at all levels of both the customer and company.

  4. Ability to operate in a regional structure and understand its customers, local requirements, barriers to entry, etc.

  5. Customer focused

  6. Fluent in written and spoken Azeri, English and Russian.

 

Personal Qualifications:

 

  1. Strong communication skills with a commitment to meeting/exceeding customer expectations

  2. Ability to prioritise key activities in accordance with established timelines and technical scope

  3. Demonstrate initiative and work with minimum direction

  4. Demonstrated drive for results

  5. Adaptable and responsive to change

  6. Must be willing travel on a regular basis and work extended hours to meet customer requirements
