Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

Basic and detailed engineering of Power plant DCS projects

  • Review contract and seek clarifications, develop engineering concepts and schemes, seek approval from group head, prepare engineering drawings & documents, guide and monitor juniors, ensure correctness of documentation in line with guidelines and customer specifications, interface with customers / consultants/ internal departments for technical discussions & approvals, report progress ( including risks ) and key issues to superiors in order to meet project engineering schedules / milestones

  • Prepare system integration procedure, obtain approvals, supervise & conduct system integration tests / FAT in line with the procedure, review results in order to ensure that the delivered system meets the required project specifications.

  • Planning of resources for commissioning activities, tools management, commissioning, trouble shooting, handing over the system in order to ensure timely commissioning and closing of the project.

  • Technical support to execution group during techno- commercial negotiations and offer preparation in order to achieve cost effective solutions & timely execution of the project.

  • Conducting training of client, in- house engineers in order to maintain the system properly, to reduce engineering and commissioning time and to induce the customer confidence in the system.

  • Standardization of Engineering and Commissioning processes in order to reduce engineering and commissioning cycles, to minimize the non-conformance cost (internal & external) and to achieve process maturity.


We don’t need superheroes, just super minds

  • B.E/B.Tech (Instrumentation/Electrical)

  • 3 to 8 years of relevant experience

  • Power plant I&C concepts (All types, sizes and configurations) including design, develop, implement and optimize

  • Power plant process knowledge, comprising of basic thermodynamics, heat and mass balances, performance of various critical equipment and optimization and tuning of I&C system

  • Hardware engineering, comprising of field interfacing, cable scheduling, intelligent field device connectivity, Power and electronic earth philosophy, standardization in case of Green field and R&M projects

  • Application software engineering: Efficient Logic development for smooth and optimum plant operation, standardization of function proxies, Sequence of controls, One push-button start/stop implementation

  • Network concepts: Implementation of LAN, WAN over different technologies to cover wider geographical locations, Fibre and copper networking, routing techniques in complex enterprise networks

    Good communication skills
