Job Description



Responsibilities:


  1. Throughout both development and series production phase, ensure appropriate selection & qualification of new suppliers & components, focusing on Connectors and Plastic parts;

  2. Participate in new product development, derive Siemens technical & quality specifications and drive advanced quality planning for responsible suppliers and components. Ensure high quality components to be supplied to production;

  3. Manage all component caused complaint, ensure effective and agile problem solving for responsible commodities and suppliers;

  4. Drive process capability & quality development at key suppliers, ensure systematic supplier development & partnership to support future-oriented SEWC business demand;

  5. Ensure continuous improvement of supplier quality performance in responsible commodity area


 


Desired qualifications:


  1. >5 years experiences in Product Quality/Supplier Quality/Advanced Quality Planning function in connector/plastic/electronic device Manufacturing or Developing environment.

  2. Familiar with connector and/or plastic design/production technologies;

  3. Proficiency in mechanical inspection, testing and failure analysis specifications & technics;

  4. Familiar with quality management system and relevant processes & tools;

  5. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electronic Engineering or above;

  6. Good communication, presentation & interpersonal skills;  

  7. Fluent in English;

  8. Leadership exposure (e.g. team lead / project lead experience) is a plus;

  9. Design/Process Engineering/Design for Manufacturing experience in connector/plastic industry is a plus.
