Where will you be working?

Siemens Digital factory is pleased to announce an extremely exciting opportunity to work within our Middle East Industry Services business unit which helps making customer’s machines and plants more profitable and efficient throughout their entire lifecycle, and allow customer to exploit the opportunities of digitalization while reducing the total cost of ownership. 

Specific Responsibilities

  •  Collect information on customers, competitors and their products in the regional market, e.g. determining the worth of Siemens-relevant placement volume
  • Business analysis
    • Customer-specific analysis of market and competition (e.g. Cross Selling).
      - Create customer and industry profiles showing the business potential.
    • Defining / implementing a marketing concept for target customers with the target to win the identified business potential.
    • Use this information for own tasks and pass it to the responsible RMM in the Headquarter.
  • Customer development
    • Target: Convince Target Customers identified during the "Business analysis" task
    • Planning and implementation of acquisition supporting activities (visits, telephone promotion, mailings) according to business and success-oriented aspects.
    • Creating a comprehensive and technically in-depth argumentation for product and system features (also cross-BU) and the resulting customer benefits.
    • Develop concepts for the customers.
      Organization and active participation in internal and external presentations.
  • Coordination and leading of promotion projects also with products from various BUs.

Responsible for Product Launches, Seminars & Workshops of own products.

  • Regional Requirements
    • Play an active role in identifying and marketing of regional concepts 
      Report progress to HQ.
  • Support the sales force
    • Information exchange with sales partners.
    • Pre-sales technical support.
    • Customer Development on own product portfolio.
  • Know-how
  • Regular know-how transfer of technology, market situation and strategy.
  • Passing product requirements to HQ.
  • Passing marketing requirements to HQ.
  • Reporting
  • Monitoring of target attainment, reporting (incl. WON/LOST reporting with reasons).

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need extensive customer facing/engagement exposure.  At least 3-5  years’ experience in Industrial Automation technologies with hands on Sales experience is a plus. Must be holding an Engineering degree.
