Our global Building Products Business is leading in developing and market high-quality Building Automation and Fire Safety systems and products via our Regional Sales Countries. To complete our Regional Sales Team Europe at our headquarters in Zug, we are looking for a motivated Regional Sales Manager. You will act as the interface to our Building Product Sales colleagues in the assigned European countries and your mission is to help them to foster their sales performance and competitiveness. We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague, experienced in selling technology products within the B2B industry with a passion for setting a footprint in developing our business to the next success level.


Your new responsibilities

  • Actively driving country implementation of global sales strategy and sales efficiency measures and enable speed and efficiency in sales
  • Driving the revenue of our multi-million product business in the assigned European countries in close collaboration with our local product sales management
  • Ensuring best-in-class sales steering methods (business mix, use of channels, short-term and long-term business plans and methodologies) in collaboration with our management colleagues in the countries
  • Definition and implementation of business improvement initiatives (e.g. market analysis, pricing policy, CRM implementation)
  • Supporting the assigned countries in the planning & performance monitoring
  • Presentation of and commentary on regional performance
  • Representation and implementation of the Building Products interests in the assigned countries

Your skills and experience

  • University degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or economics or similar education
  • At least 5 to 10 years’ experience in products and systems sales within the B2B technical industry is a requirement, preferably in the building technology domain (e.g. knowledge of the European market, customer and sales situation)
  • Experience in account/channel management or business development at headquarters level within a B2B global technology company would be an advantage
  • Ability to build-up and develop a multinational customer-oriented product sales organization
  • High level of customer focus and strong results orientation as well as the ability to collaborate with internal and external partners empower you as a successful business manager
  • Organizational and methodologies competencies, e.g. strategic and conceptual thinking
  • Strong social skills, like teamwork and cooperation
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills in English and German
  • Travel activity within Europe approximately 20 - 25%
