For our EM MindSphere Application Center in Shanghai, now we are looking for a Data Analyst.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Be actively engaged in the customer value co-creation workshop, find out the potential business values behind the data;

  • Be part of the EM MindSphere Application Center (MAC) with the task to evaluate and enhance industrial Big Data Applications within Siemens EM use cases

  • Together with an team of specialists for data collection, data preparation and data visualization, apply the big data analytic and get more insights out of the data

  • Together with the team you will create mathematical and statistical models and transform these into algorithms

  • Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data

  • Analyze business data to support management to optimize and streamline the existing business process


What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor degree or above in information science, data science, mathematics, physics, Electronic Engineering.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Software development, especially in those topics: software requirement engineering, software design and development, software trouble shooting, bugfix and installation, software process improvement, data science/analytics.

  • Object oriented software engineering experience in .NET Framework ,C#, VB and xml for small and large software systems.

  • Detailed knowledge required for databases (MySQL, SQL), data processing and analysis.

  • Knowledge about computed tomography, clinical workflows, system engineering and big data, website development.

  • IT knowledge with Microsoft office especially Excel and Web applications.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Strong sense of responsibility, proactive and positive coordination and communication.

  • Good team working skills and systematic and structured working style.

  • English fluently – both in written and oral.
