Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

  • Responsible for designing Gas Turbine bearings (hydrodynamic, thrust etc.) to meet full spectrum of design requirements (functionality, robustness, cost effectiveness, manufacturing requirements and technology, assembly requirements and service requirements)
  • Development of innovative design solutions. Controls risk of design changes with appropriate methods like FMEA.
  • Creates, evaluates, reviews and applies specifications and other technical documents related to Bearings
  • Seamless transfer of product definition input and output between CAD modeler and project lead respectively.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds

  • Mechanical/Aerospace engineer graduate/post graduate with more than 5 years of experience in hydrodynamic bearing design for turbo machines (steam turbine/ gas turbines).
  • Create new product designs, product assemblies, and solve design-related problems.
  • Proficiency in utilizing mechanical engineering skills to analyze technical requirements and applying appropriate skill set to design and detail Gas turbine components and assemblies within Pro / E or NX solid modeling CAD software.
  • Understand the product requirements, schedule and program requirements. Provide engineering solutions within agreed timeline.
  • Ability to perform engineering calculations independently and come up with innovative solutions.
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills to work with cross functional team and with different cultural background.
  • Exposure to SAP and Teamcenter.
  • Ability to adapt quickly & effectively etc.
