Financial Executive, Treasury Project Management, Siemens Financial Services Ltd., Beijing (SFSL)


Overview of Role:

You would be a part of the Business Development Team which is responsible for the growth of the treasury business by designing and implementing solutions through project management and automation strategies. The position would require proactive involvement to implement continuous improvement topics and adaption to regulatory changes. The role would also require maintaining the current and implementation of future enhancement of automation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead role in driving major business development initiatives through Siemens’ project management methodology (PM(i)@Siemens)
  • Responsible for project planning and implementation according to project scope, time, progress, quality and other factors to achieve project milestones and objectives.
  • Communicate, coordinate and follow up with project stakeholders and members to ensure smooth project execution and alignment
  • Monitor and mitigate project risks and manage project documentation
  • Provide Project transparency through project management reporting and development of strong business cases for each initiative to the management
  • Improve efficiency and create cost saving through best practice treasury solutions, process streamlining, digitalization and automation (VBA and SharePoint Workflow etc.) along with relevant departments
  • Maintenance and support of critical treasury workflows based on VBA and MS SharePoint to ensure smooth operations
  • Continuously generate and realize ideas that increases revenue, efficiency, transparency, and reduces cost and provide support for implementing company strategies
  • Knowledge, Skills, Experiences
  • Academic background: Bachelor or Master' s degree in Business, Information technology or Finance
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in major banks, financial institutions or consulting firms (on banking sector), with experience of project management. PMP certification is a plus.
  • A team player with strong sense of ownership and good communication skills
  • Good learning agility and analytical skills
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and rudimentary knowledge of ERP (SAP)
  • Knowledge of SharePoint workflow set-up and VBA programming
  • Proficiency in English (the official company language)
  • Knowledge of the Chinese financial markets and instruments (Interbank, FX and Fixed Income) and treasury products/processes is a plus
