The challenge
Embark on an exciting journey with Siemens Subsea, part of our Energy Management Division, at our location in Ulverston. Siemens Subsea offers a wide portfolio of subsea power, control, sensing and distribution systems, products and services to support electrical power, data, hydraulic, optical, monitoring and surveillance applications primarily focused in the Energy Sector.

Be a part of a world class team with the opportunity to rotate around our various functions below, working closely with our engineers to create ground-breaking solutions in:
  • Manufacturing
  • Test department
  • Machine shop
  • Applications and Development design teams
  • Production engineering
  • Planning
  • Delivery and Quality
Your first year will be based at college/training provider studying towards a BTEC Level 3 and NVQ Level 3 Extended Diploma in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering.

The candidate
Here is what it takes to join some of the worlds brightest minds:
  • Have achieved (or on track to achieve) at least 4 GCSE’s Level 4 (grade C) or above in Maths, English, Science and one other subject.
  • Microsoft office skills are desirable
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Flexible 
  • Have the ability to work under pressure within small teams
  • Good communication skills both verbally and written
