Aero Gas Turbines are looking for a Commercialisation Manager to lead the Development and Commercialisation of product and service offerings.

You will be part of a team of Business/Commercialisation Managers responsible for commercializing service product opportunities (including upgrades to Products and Services), working closely with wider functional teams within Siemens Aero Gas Turbines, developing and maintaining cost models, evaluating business cases and the continuous development of standardized tools and process in support of the Marketing and Sales function.
Over the past few years, our aero-derivative turbine business has successfully grown to be a €700million per annum global business by focusing on the supply and support of aero-derivative gas turbine packages and equipment to the global oil & gas and power generation markets. The business has supplied over 4,000 gas turbines to customers in over 80 countries accumulating over 200 million hours of operating experience. It is our vision to be the customers' first choice for distributed power generation and compression systems solutions.

Experience in service solutions and product support businesses with a focus on commercialising
Leadership experience of service delivery, for example, project or proposal management.
Experience of rotating turbo-machinery equipment in either Oil and Gas or the Power Generation
Experience managing indirect relationships across multiple sites and locations.
Ability to assess business opportunities and to understand the salient deatil of business, financial and commercial considerations that enable sound business decision making.
You will preferably have a comprehensive understanding of an Aftermarket Business and the profile of life cycle costs for the Aero Gas Turbine products within the Siemens Portfolio.
Experience in the use and application of Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Knowledgeable of Microsoft applications.
What are my responsibilities?
Create close interface and working relationship with sales teams (central and regional) to evaluate the feasibility of ideas for new products and services
Drive the generation of new Service ideas and work within the Product Development and sales process for the development of those ideas from concept through to commercial realization.
Business case analysis and development across the service business and the preparation of recommendations for business approval. Analysis will include Market Analysis, NPV analysis, KPIs, continuous improvements.
Development of sales material like Sales presentation, Commercial pricing strategy, Value selling tools, flyers, winning guides,
Support sales teams in development of sales strategy for first few customers for uptake of new product and service
Train and enable global and regional sales teams on the value of the product and sales material
Seek feedback from regional sales to evaluate the success of the product and services launches and input lessons learned to the Product development and sales process
Manage the development of market-led business cases to inform the allocation of R&D funding
Act as key user for Marketing and Sales tools
