The global Solution and Service Portfolio unit within the Building Technologies Division develops global strategies and solutions which support the digitalization of buildings and processes. We develop the right technology to transform operations, and the right services and solutions to increase asset performance across the entire building lifecycle. Delivery of cloud based digital services places distinct focus and demands on service culture and provision. Within that frame we are looking for a Service Operations Manager to deliver a scalable and flexible operations for our regional engineering and commercial partners. You provide end-customer value by utilizing processes, people and technology within a cloud-based Building Management Software service offering

  

Your new responsibilities

  • Build up and manage all aspects of the service design, transition and operations for new cloud-based offerings
  • Establish a service desk to handle both service requests and disruptions, together with initial diagnostics and categorization of incidents
  • Coordinate lifecycle maintenance for infrastructure, cloud-hosted applications and connectivity. To safeguard cyber-security and data privacy is a core duty
  • Within an Agile development environment, you work with the service owner and project managers to continuously implement and deliver features from the service roadmap
  • You work closely with the service owner to provide a scalable and flexible operations that optimizes budget and improves both quality and customer satisfaction
  • Your management of seamless and dynamic service processes and guidelines is a core of your success
  • Support of governance including audits, security policy fulfilment, SLAs and commercial reporting
 

Your skills and experience

  • University degree in engineering, computing science or information technology, underpinned with appropriate ITIL® certification
  • Background in service delivery, and have ideally gained first experiences in cloud hosted solutions, DevOps and Cyber Security
  • Your understanding of our customers’ core processes and service level expectations are supported with understanding of Building Management Software
  • Apply analytical thinking to effectively manage incidents and to keep calm during challenging periods
  • Your process-oriented approach and its transfer into structured knowledge management can be applied to ensure strong operations performance
  • An ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders on all hierarchical levels and across organizations within an intercultural environment
  • Fluent English to communicate confidently with all stakeholders completes your personal profile. German would be an asset
