Job Description

What are my responsibilities?
  • Managing logistics operation both import and export shipments, all kind of transportation mode especially air shipment and oversize project shipment,  warehouse, local transportation and customer services for the whole company
  • To manage and lead logistics operation team and hand on operation 
  • To be SPOC of all logistics operation issues 
  • Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle including delivery on time and follow thru.
  • Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers including following up the deliveries on time
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Arrange plan routes and process shipments
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints
  • Supervise, coach and train the team /subordinates
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • To make sure processes and efficiencies are continuous improvements towards to digitization
  • Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
What do I need to qualify for this role?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related
  • 5+ years direct work experience in supply chain and logistics.
  • Working knowledge with SAP
  • Managing teams of 5 to 10 staff
  • Strong English communication and decision making skills
