Job Description

For our Process Industries and Drives Division in Shanghai, we are looking for a SFAE 西门子工厂自动化工程有限公司 Project Procurement Manager 项目采购经理 工作地点:上海.


What are my responsibilities?

1. Early Procurement Involvement

- Participate in project/sales meetings as project core team member to exert a shaping influence at an early stage and to optimize internal workflows and processes.

- Analyze customer inquiries during bid preparation / opportunity management phases and exactly understand the customer's functional needs in order to include (supplier) innovations that improve Siemens' cost position and/or the customer's benefit. Support project calculation with reliable material cost data.

- Idnetify procurement risks in bid phase, work out mitigation measures                                                                                                                                                 

- Define and support cost reduction measures such as DtC, standardization.

2. Supplier Management    

To ensure the sufficient and efficient supplier sourcing in line with the business conducts and global and local guideline.   

- drive activity of new supplier selection, qualification and evaluation                                                                                                                                                                                                               - drive cross functional team to evaluate performance of existed suppliers regularly, set development plan to suppliers and make it happen                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                - support relative party to eliminate problems/troubles regarding external material procurement 

3. Procurement strategies and Negotiation

- Define and implement Procurement strategies in projects based on conducted demand, market and supplier analysis to ensure the project and the strategic procurement targets such as cost-efficient and reliable on-time supply of materials in the required quality.

- Lead and perform contractual and price negotiations to secure project targets with optimum conditions.

4. Standardization

- Implement and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. Compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, PM@Siemens, IT systems)

5. Monitoring/Reporting

Clarify internal indicators for project controlling and compiling all relevant information to submit qualified reports (e.g. for the project team, Procurement management team).

6. Savings and relevant KPI

- Generate, document and implement savings, e.g. CNI;

- Plan, monitor and report on relevant KPI to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

1.      Bachelor degree or above in electric engineering, automation or relative  major

电气工程、自动化或机电一体化等相关专业,本科及以上学历。

2.      Be good at both verbal and written English

英语说写流利

3.      Be good at office tools and SAP Operational practice preferred

熟练运用各种办公软件,有SAP经验者优先

4.      At least 3 years work experience, and project procurement experience  preferred. Good knowledge of electrical products

至少三年工作经验,具有项目采购经验者优先,良好的电气产品知识

5.      Good negotiation skills

良好的谈判技巧

6.      Familiar with tools of analytical thinking as well as the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and other departments.

习惯运用分析工具辅助思考以解决问题,具有与供应商和其他部门进行有效沟通的能力。

7.      Capability in multitasking processing

具备同时处理多项任务的能力

8.      Intelligence in China supply market is a plus
