Accountant – Recent Graduate

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the overall preparation of the consolidated annual capital budget.
• Collaborate with project owners to insure accuracy in capital spend reporting via investment orders in SAP.
• Monitor and assist with Capital Spending (CAPEX) approval process.
• Review and report monthly spend to capital projects.
• Quantify/Qualify the impact of changes to the forecast by project / driver.
• Responsible for approval the Fixed Assets purchase requisitions.
• Fixed Assets capitalization and printing of the asset labels.
• Ensure proper Accounting and Controls are performed for processing Fixed Assets activity by following all established policies and procedures.  
• Support and control inventory management and cycle count process.
• Perform the periodic financial closing process.
• Month-end & ongoing reporting including: Capital Spending (CAPEX), Inventory, Reserves, and Journal Entries.
• Perform reconciliations for defined accounts and between financial and reporting systems.
• Prepare work papers as needed by internal and external audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practice initiatives. 

Requirements

·      Bachelor degree in Accounting

• Fluency or professional proficiency in English

• 1 year of work experience in a related field
• High degree of proficiency in Excel, SAP or other ERP and financial reporting system
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
