Overview
The consultant & contractor business developer maintains and expands relationships with assigned electrical consultant and contractors. He is responsible for promoting the complete range of SENTRON low voltage products and systems to end customers, consultants and contractors.
The LV business developer identifies opportunities in industry and infrastructure market in early stage and coordinates the project acquisition with partners and sales team in the different project stage.
Job responsibilities
• Proactively promote Siemens LV and MV portfolio to industry and infrastructure contractors / EPC
• Proactively drives specifications with consultants and end-users to ensure Siemens LV / MV portfolio is specified
• Monthly organization of technical workshops and trainings for electrical consultant and contractors to promote Siemens portfolio
• Create an application-based marketing approach for consultant and end customers to promote Siemens solution in specific applications (such as hospitals, airports, etc.)
• Support product offering through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partners sales resources in defined infrastructure vertical markets
• Proactively recruits new qualifying partners in alignment with the defined business unit strategy
• Continuously identify opportunities for new projects in the LV and MV market and coordinate the project acquisition in the different project stages by involving partners, promoting Siemens solution to the project owner, consultant and contractors
• Leads solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel
• Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts.

Key job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Minimum 5 years professional experience within the electrical industry
- Experience and knowledge about low and medium-voltage products and systems
- Strong communication kills and ability to build and maintain customer relationships
