Come and join our team as a Lean Expert to outline, develop and deploy the continuous improvement strategy framework across the manufacturing in line with business lean strategy and industry best practice.

You will coach, train and embed lean methodologies and techniques across manufacturing to ensure that a rigorous structured approach to the application of continuous improvement projects and structured problem solving becomes the normality in manufacturing.

Your mission and responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the creation and drive the implementation of best practice lean vision, strategy, policies and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
  • Develop and execute a robust continuous improvement strategy in partnership with the Manufacturing Management Team and key business stakeholders.
  • Act as a trainer, coach and mentor and to drive and facilitate continuous improvement activities focusing on products, systems, operations & processes throughout the business.
  • To deploy appropriate methodologies to problem solving and facilitate teams to solve problems and to ensure the escalation process for problem solving is effective.  
Your qualifications and experience:
  • Must be able to demonstrate significant experience of working within an environment of continuous improvement & lean manufacturing.
  • Formal Lean Manufacturing experience (e.g. Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, Toyota Production System, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5s, DMAIC, Visual Management etc.).
  • Degree in Manufacturing / Engineering / Industrial Engineering preferred with an understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes.

  • Strong Analytical skills.
  • Understanding of cost and financial impacts.
